Neoprene Care Instruction

Neoprene is low-maintenance, but it still deserves some TLC.

About

Neoprene bags are durable, flexible, and great for everyday use, though they are on the heavier side compared to some other materials. Neoprene is water-resistant, making it effective at protecting your belongings from rain or spills. Its soft, cushioned texture offers extra protection for delicate items, and it’s easy to clean, combining style with practicality.

Wash

  • Hand washing is recommended: Gently wipe or soak in warm water (not exceeding 30°C) with a small amount of neutral detergent.

  • Do not machine wash/spin dry: The strong stirring and spin-drying of the washing machine can easily cause wrinkles, deformations and even delamination.

  • Avoid scrubbing: Do not scrub with a hard-bristled brush or steel wool ball to prevent damage to the surface coating or foaming structure.

Drying method

  • After cleaning, please let it air dry naturally in the shade and lay it flat in a well-ventilated area to air dry.

  • Do not expose to direct sunlight or dry in a dryer: High temperatures can cause the material to age, harden and lose elasticity.

Storage

  • Make sure it is completely dry before storage to avoid unpleasant odours or mould caused by damp environments.

  • It is recommended to store it flat or rolled up. Avoid folding for a long time to prevent permanent creases.

Storage

  • Avoid contact with sharp objects to prevent scratches or punctures.

  • Try to avoid prolonged contact with chemicals such as oils, solvents, alcohol and perfumes, as they may corrode the surface or cause fading.

Deodorising tips (such as for bags, insoles, etc.)

  • After drying, it can be placed in an activated carbon bag or a baking soda bag and left to stand overnight to help absorb odors.

  • Do not spray air freshener directly.
